Food safety auditor conversion training – ISO 22000:2005 – 3 days (IRCA certified A17347)
If you have attended a certified QMS, EMS or OHSAS lead auditor course and wish to extend your auditing knowledge and skills to food safety then this is the course for you.
A course intended for quality professionals in the public and private sectors, environmental health and trading standards officers and supplier auditors.
Key learning objectives / course content:
- A comprehensive and working knowledge of ISO 22000.
- Understanding how FSMS and QMS requirements are linked.
- Being able to prepare, conduct and report FSMS audits.
- Understanding and auditing the risks associated with the food chain.
- Practical guidance on auditing HACCP.
- Understanding and auditing local food safety legal requirements.
- Understanding food processes from farm to fork via product design & development.

The pre-course requirements are that participants have working experience of the food industry and a working knowledge of:
- HACCP;
- Prerequisite programmes (e.g. GMP, GAP etc.);
- The applicable statutory and regulatory requirements which are relevant to
- them.
In addition attendees should have passed an IRCA certified (or equivalent) QMS, EMS or OHSAS auditor / lead auditor training course.
